How do I connect my SalonInteractive account to Aura Salonware?

The first step to connecting accounts is to activate SalonInteractive within Aura. You only need to do this step once. After that, you’ll stay connected every time you log into Aura.

How do I know if my supplier (distributor) offers online product orders?

When you set up your SalonInteractive account, you can view available distributors for salon ordering in your area. If you have already set up your SalonInteractive account, log in and from your menu, go to Ecommerce and then Settings. Look for the distributor tile and click the plus sign in the upper right corner. On the next page you’ll see the available distributors in your area.

How often do the product updates happen in Aura?

Automatic product syncs happen daily to ensure your data is always up-to-date. The updates include changes to product pricing, barcode, active status, category, and size. Aura’s daily syncs will not override any salon-defined product naming.

My salon sets its own pricing. Is there a way to exclude pricing from the product sync?

Yes. When logged into Aura, from the menu on the left, go to Inventory and then Products. From the menu icon in the upper right, select SalonInteractive and uncheck the box Include price changes in automated product updates in the pop-up. You can manually change pricing as needed using the Check Prices button.

SalonInteractive provides Aura users with direct access to data with a detailed product catalog of over 400 brands and integrated salon ordering with participating distributors. The salon ordering feature helps streamline physical product ordering to keep your salon’s retail inventory and back bar stocked.

I’m a current Rosy user switching to Aura; how do I transfer my SalonInteractive account?
